In addition to the new app, MLB.com is now live and offering a number of new features for fans.
The app includes a new TV schedule, including the first time that teams have been able to schedule live games.
And there’s also a new interactive scoreboard for fans to check on the standings on their home screens, complete with detailed standings graphs.
For the first month of availability, the app is available only to Apple TV and Amazon Fire TVs.
It is also available for Chromecast.
The MLB.tv app will be available later this summer.
