A $10 per month subscription to Disney’s DVC is one of the lowest-priced packages available for a full-service cable package in the United States.
And, the $10 price is far lower than the other comparable offers, including Hulu, ESPN, DirecTV Now and Amazon Prime Video.
The price, however, is also among the lowest in the country, according to data from research firm MoffettNathanson.
That includes a $30-$50 price for a basic package with the HBO NOW service and a $70-a/month Hulu Plus membership that includes an HBO NOW app.
Costco’s Entertainment Package will cost $39.99 per month for two people or $89.99 for a family of four.
The company’s pricing is not as good as the $70 per month Hulu Plus deal offered by Amazon Prime, which costs $79.99 a month for three people.
However, it is among the cheapest for a package that offers full access to Hulu Plus and ESPN streaming, according, for example, to the Dish Network, DireCTV Now, Comcast Now, Dish Music, Diretaco and other providers.
While $10 a month is not necessarily a bad price for cable, it’s a drop from the other options.
For example, DirecitTV Now is the most expensive package at $89 a month, according the research firm Technomic.

Costco is offering its Entertainment Package for the first time, after a two-year hiatus.
The company announced the pricing change in October, a move that included an upgrade to the Roku Streaming Stick, which is the cheapest package available in the U.S. It is also the only company that offers a $10 discount on Hulu Plus.
DVC, which launched in 2011, is owned by Comcast Corp. and the parent company of NBCUniversal.
It has more than 30 million subscribers in the States and is a major player in the video rental business.
